New Blog Post series

After going to the US for one and a half years, I have worked and studied full-time. The time I spent in the US was longer than a honeymoon, yet far away from being a true American. Still, it is enough for me to form opinions on both loves and hates, in both Hong Kong and New Jersey. Therefore, I am starting a new series of blog posts. I will share what I like and dislike about the places that I stayed. Please be reminded that humans are inherently biased. I do have my own preferences. But this series is striving to be comprehensive instead of one-sided. I will be as fair as I possibly can.

There are 2 types of target audience. First are the people in the contemplation stage of The Stages of Change (seriously intend to change, but are stuck thinking about it). Choosing where to build our shelter is a universal question. I hope this series helps people examining a right place to live. Not necessarily Hong Kong nor the United States, because the aspects considered are general yet crucial to apply to all other places. Second, this is also for people who would like to know more about different cultures. I travelled half a planet to start a new life. I have first-hand experiences of how lives in the opposite side of our mother earth look like. The differences are ENORMOUS! Those who interested how, please read the upcoming posts to find out!

This is the first time I publicly write stuff for the others to read. I know my experiences are precious as a person from across the Pacific Ocean. Although I am not the only one, not many of them are willing to write down their thoughts and share them for free. Now you can have my views without opening your mouth to ask. I wish I am articulate enough to express what’s in my mind. Even if I don’t, just let me know, direct message, email, telling me face-to-face, whatever! Suggestions, objections, discussions, or gratitude are also welcomed.
