This meet was special. My old friends brought their camera to watch my first meet in Canada. The original plan was just me visiting my friends. But why not do some jumps there?

I jumped 677 672 681 foul skip foul. I skipped due to a slight knee pain. The knee pain started 2-3 weeks ago. I felt better and better day by day, it was not 100% recovered. As long as I carefully manage the loads of my training, it will soon be fully ready again.

I appreciate how I manage my arouse level. Many cameras on me, and I was the first one to engage the crowd. Still, manage to hit the board accurately 3 jumps out of 5 was impressive. My target of this meet was to have a consistent approach-run, as I recently added 2 little skips to start my run. So I was happy with what I have done in this meet.

What I would like to improve is my pre-meet lift. I planned a heavy pre-meet lift that I have been using for the indoor season. However, I haven’t been lifting since I arrived in Toronto. The fatigue it brought was more than what I thought. Fatigue control will be a big topic to research on.
